Welcome to Travelog. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

        Important Note on Location: Travelog does not collect, track, or share your GPS location data.
    

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign in via Google or Email, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture to create your travel profile.
User-Generated Content: We collect the text and travel stories you write within the app.
Device Permissions: To allow you to add photos to your logs, the app requests access to your Camera and Photo Gallery. This is only used when you explicitly choose to upload an image.

2. Third-Party Services

We use Google Firebase for authentication and app stability. These services may collect technical data such as device identifiers and crash logs to ensure the app works correctly.

3. Data Handling & Security

All personal data is transmitted securely using HTTPS encryption. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Account and Data Deletion

Google Play requires that you have control over your data. You can delete your account and all associated travel logs at any time:

In-App: Go to Settings > Delete Account.
Web Request: You can also request data deletion by contacting us at the email address below. We will process your request within 7 business days.

5. Children's Privacy

Travelog is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
